There are many chatting apps available, but the chatting that is used by the most number of people is WhatsApp. Will you accept that there is another app that is better than WhatsApp?  Yes, there is an app that is better than WhatsApp. It is Telegram. Here are the 8 features that will prove that Telegram is better than WhatsApp.

1. Scheduled Messages

In Telegram, you can schedule your messages. What you want to do is just long-press on the send button and click 'schedule message'. 
I am sure hereafter you won't forget your closed one's birthday.

2. Editing Sent Messages

If you want to edit the mistakes in the previous messages that you have sent, you can do it anytime. Just tap on the message and click the edit option.

3. Telegram Bots
This is the coolest thing on Telegram. Bots are just like apps. In your phone, you have apps for various purposes like that in Telegram you can use bots for various purposes like hearing songs, getting stickers, GIFs, watching Youtube videos, downloading torrent files, etc...
You can also create your own bots using a bot called "botfather"

4. Shortcuts
There are many shortcuts in Telegram which will be very helpful. 
For example, In any chat type @wiki and you can search any page on Wikipedia instantly.
Likewise, @spotybot for songs and @gif for GIFs



5. Cloud Storage
In Telegram, you can save messages and your files in 'Saved Messages' This will act as mini cloud storage and will be very useful to access files. Even if you use your account in other phones these messages will be available.

6. No Phone Number Needed To Chat
In WhatsApp, the phone number is mandatory to chat with someone, but in Telegram, you can create your own username which will be used to find your account and chat.

7. Secret Chat

On the left side, there is the 'New Secret Chat' option which is used to chat with privacy. If you chat in that feature, messages cannot be forwarded and the chats can't be taken screenshots and you can't record your screen.

8. Self Destructive Messages



In Telegram, you can send messages
that will delete automatically after certain seconds. What you have to do is select the file you want to send, then click on the timer icon. Then, select the time after which you have to delete your message automatically. That's it your sent message will be deleted after selected seconds.
